Mafia III Definitive Edition

Mafia 3 game from 2K Studios and another improved version like the second version that we tested before, but this time the original version was released just four years ago and on the same generation of devices. So what are the expected improvements? We will talk about this in the following lines.

Gameplay and Story

The events of the story take place in the late 1960s in a city with varied terrain and environments. You play as Lincoln Clay, who has just returned to his family after participating in the famous Vietnam War with the American army. Events take place immediately after his return and accelerate until you find yourself on a mission to avenge your family and work to control the entire city from the ground up. The summit and this work seem impossible for a man, so your mission is to gain new allies and convince them to join you so that you can benefit from them in different areas and find your way in this desolate world, to achieve their goals.

Expansive Game World

The game world is much more extensive than the previous part and contains more diverse environments, from cities and luxury houses to market buildings, ports and even swamps, etc., and once you start playing, you find yourself in a cycle of do to boring and repetitive manner tasks where you have to meet a person in the area and listen to their requests to join you. Then you infiltrate to force one of the enemies to recognize the locations and sources of income in that region and you must move between them to burn, destroy or kill the leaders’ assistants until you reach a certain level of damage so that the leader of the region appears to you. You just have to defeat him to hand the region over to another region and repeat the same thing. The sequence is back with a new ally!

Allies and Missions

Each area differs from the other in terms of the crimes that bring it income. Sometimes an area is designated for weapons or drug trafficking, etc., but in the end you will complete most missions the same way. Each of them your allies will help you in their own way. Some of them will provide you with weapon supplies and upgrades for weapons left behind, and some of them will work to send members of his party to help you in battle when you need them, and many others.

Graphics and Technical Issues

Graphically, the game does not offer a qualitative leap on home devices, and the world is still blurry to hide the weak graphics and lack of details in the city, and many of the characters appear without details. We hoped that the development studio would take advantage of this version by focusing on improvements in this aspect. In general, one of the positive aspects is the lack of them. There are many technical errors in the second improved version, which may be due to using the same generation devices after years of updates to the original game.

Engaging Storyline and Additional Content

As you would expect from the series, Mafia 3 also offers an interesting story with exciting events and distinctive characters that are worth experiencing, but the number of missions can quickly become boring. One of the most important improvements in this version is the presence of all the additional content and stories within the game, which are striking additions with exciting missions and are worth experiencing, providing more variety. For the tasks in the game, the voice acting is, as usual in the series, impressive and distinctive, with elaborate and well thought-out functions, expressive voices of the characters, melodies appropriate to the 1960s and beautiful music.
